Terms of Use

Last updated: July 23, 2026

Acceptance

By downloading, using, or accessing Vamp It — including the mobile app and the web demo at app.vampit.app (together, the "App") — you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the App.

License

You're granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App on devices you own or control, for your own personal use.

Your content

Audio files you import remain yours. The App stores them locally (on your device, or in your browser for the web demo) to provide its functionality — waveform display, playback, looping, checkpoints, regions, and cropping — and does not claim any ownership over them. You're responsible for having the rights to any audio you import and use with the App — the App is a practice tool, not a license to use copyrighted material outside of whatever rights you already have (e.g. personal use of music you've legally obtained).

The web demo

The web demo is provided free of charge as a way to try the App before installing it, and may be updated, changed, or taken offline at any time without notice. It is not a long-term storage service — clearing your browser's site data will delete anything saved there.

No warranty

The App is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Use it at your own risk — in particular, cropping/deleting audio and songs is not always reversible, so keep your own backups of anything you can't afford to lose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ben Russell is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time; the "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent change. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated terms.
